• Rochester Museum & Science Center - Located at 657 East Ave. and they house a collection of 1.2 million artifacts. The museum is focused on educating the Rochester community of all ages in science, technology and local history.
  • Strasenburgh Planetarium - Located right next to the RMSC building, this planetarium is known world-wide for its innovative Star Theater which seats 225 and runs daily shows with regular special events. It was the first of its kind to be fully computer automated.
  • Strong National Museum of Play - Located conveniently off of the 490 highway at 1 Manhattan Square Dr, The Strong is a worldwide recognized educational institution housing interactive collections related to the study and exploration of play. It is home to the Woodbury School, the International Center for History of Electronic Games, the National Toy Hall of Fame, the World Video Game Hall of Fame, the Brian Sutton-Smith Library and Archives of Play, and the American Journal of Play.
  • Susan B. Anthony House - the home of Susan B. Anthony for forty years and where she was arrested for attempting to vote in the 1872 presidential election. Now a learning center and museum of Rochester's contribution to women's rights located at 19 Madison St.
  • George Eastman Museum - a National Historic Landmark located at 900 east Ave., it is the estate of Kodak's founder, George Eastman and dedicated to photograph and motion picture archives as well as film preservation and photograph conservation. It houses the 500-seat Dryden Theatre which plays daily showings of classic motion pictures.
  • Genesee Country Village & Museum - 19th-century living history museum just 20 miles from Rochester in Mumford, NY. Over 600 acres containing actual architecture from the time, the John L. Wehle Gallery of Sporting Art, the Genesee Country Nature Center, the Carriage Museum, the Silver Baseball Park and the Heirloom Gardens.
